The Sacrament of Marriage requires a time of spiritual preparation. According to the Common Policy adopted by the Bishops of New Jersey, this preparation requires sessions with a priest or deacon, FOCCUS review and attendance at a Marriage Preparation Program such as Pre Cana. Therefore couples should make arrangements with the church at least 1 year before the planned wedding date and before finalizing any social plans - please contact the church before booking the reception hall. Couples must also verify freedom to marry before dates and arrangements can be made.
