Visitation Parish has partnered with Parishsoft to offer you the ability of setting up donations by a monthly, semi-annual or one-time basis using your credit card or automatic withdrawal from your bank account (ACH). The process is completely handled by you, the donator.
By accessing the secure Web site, you create a log-on and set up or modify your payment schedule or even to make a one-time donation. Once you set up your account, you can make changes whenever you want; no phone calls are necessary to the parish office to change or even cancel your arrangement.

1. What are the advantages of Online Giving? It makes it easy to fulfill stewardship commitments, even when you are unable to attend church. You never have to bring cash or checks to church. Giving electronically also helps the church save money and plan its budget!

2. How are my contributions automatically deducted from my account? Once you complete the online registration form, the contribution amount you specify will automatically be transferred from your bank account to the church’s bank account.
3. When will my contribution be deducted from my account? Your electronic contribution will be debited on the date you specify.
4. If I don't write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight? Since your contribution is made at a pre-established time, you simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date. Electronic contributions are recorded for you on your bank statement as well as your online reports.
5. Without a canceled check, how can I prove I made my contribution? Your bank statement provides an itemized list of electronic transactions as well as your online reports.
6. Can I put different amounts in offerings and have all of them withdrawn at different times? You can set up to contribute to different offerings at different times; However, you will have to do each one separately. You will receive a receipt for each one.
7. What if I change bank accounts? Login and update your account information in the My Payment Schedule window. Each checking/savings/credit card can be changed utilizing the edit button, deleted completely, or new accounts can be added on the right side of the screen.
8. How much does Online Giving cost? It costs you absolutely nothing to sign up! Due to changes in government regulations, there is a credit/debit card transaction fee. However, for donation offerings you can choose to either pay this fee separately or it will be deducted from your donation.
9. What if I try Online Giving and don’t like it? You can cancel your authorization by deleting your accounts and donation dates.

At this time we have decided that it gives people a better sense of supporting their parish if they can continue to actively place their envelope into the weekly collection. If you wish, simply write in or check the box labeled “I am giving electronically.” and drop your empty envelope into the basket. Also, this helps us document your attendance at weekend Mass—we value your physical presence even more than we need your financial support!
